But in some other states, rogue county officials have tried to hijack the certification process for political purposes - pushing false and baseless claims of voter fraud. What they’re doing is against the law.

In a recent interview, I told NBC News that this push of disinformation, “is alarming and it’s a wake-up call to all secretaries of state.”

Minnesota’s elections are fair, accurate, honest, and secure. We have high participation and faith in our elections in our state. And fortunately, we’ve had no instances so far of county officials going beyond the law. But there are some people, including my opponent, who keep pushing the “Big Lie.”

We have a big job ahead of us to correct the record - and to make sure that the lawlessness in other states doesn’t spread to Minnesota.
