Today’s announcement shows Democrats’ blatant hypocrisy. Nancy Pelosi spent months telling the American people that House Democrats would never pursue a “divisive” impeachment effort unless it was “overwhelmingly bipartisan.” As of today, not a single Republican will be supporting the impeachment of President Trump.
 
And it’s not just Republicans in Congress that oppose impeachment. Poll after poll shows that impeachment is not popular with the American people. They simply want Congress to focus on the issues that matter to them, not the impeachment of a duly elected president.
