This past weekend, we celebrated the grand opening for our campaign office here in Houston! We were so excited to see both new and familiar #TeamLizzie faces at the new office.

With 15 weeks until Election Day, our campaign is ramping up. We have a lot of work ahead of us to reach new voters in TX-07 and tell them about the work Lizzie is doing in Congress for our community and state. We need all the help we can get and we’re hoping we can count on your involvement.
If you’re interested in volunteering with us, please fill out this form and tell us where we can reach you and what you’re interested in helping out with. We’ll be in touch with volunteer opportunities. [[link removed]]
If you’re not in the area or can’t volunteer, there’s another way you can help: Make a contribution! [[link removed]] Our end-of-month deadline is this Sunday, and every dollar we raise fuels our voter outreach efforts here in the district.

It’s been a busy few weeks in the House. Even before the Supreme Court’s decision overturning Roe v. Wade — which not only gutted reproductive rights but also threatened other rights guaranteeing privacy and autonomy — Lizzie has been a leader on these issues. Since the decision, Lizzie and her Democratic colleagues in the House have worked and voted to protect abortion access, contraceptive access, and marriage equality and provide federal protections for same-sex and interracial couples.

Since the Supreme Court’s Roe decision, we’ve seen real threats to our most fundamental freedoms.
In Texas, extreme lawmakers are threatening to introduce legislation that would walk back people’s right to travel across state lines for abortion care. And Texas’ attorney general filed a lawsuit to block President Biden’s executive order protecting access to abortion in medical emergencies.
The threats are real. And Lizzie is taking action in Congress to address them.
Lizzie also continues to deliver on other promises she’s made since 2018, like helping bring federal dollars home to mitigate flooding:
Community Impact Newspaper :
“Jersey Village water line project to begin soon with U.S. Rep. Lizzie Fletcher’s support”
May 9, 2022
Dozens of homes in Jersey Village have suffered from repeat flooding, but this summer, a project will begin to replace water and storm sewer lines to reduce flooding in the area. Lizzie fought for the funding to get this project off the ground and seeing it come to fruition is a great example of what we can get done when we work together to address our shared challenges.
Thank you for being part of the team,
Team Lizzie
