We must be bold in our defense of reproductive freedom as it’s come under attack by the Supreme Court and the DeSantis administration. That’s why I’ve joined the legal team representing Rabbi Barry Silver and Congregation L’Dor Va-Dor in their lawsuit against the State of Florida for violating our Constitution’s right to privacy and freedom of religion in its recent enactment of a 15-week abortion ban that has no exceptions for victims of rape, incest, or human trafficking.

I’m proud to join this lawsuit as co-counsel to restore the fundamental human rights that unjust abortion bans have stripped away. And it cuts to the core of why I am running for attorney general: I will always fight for freedom, justice, our constitution, and human rights.
