FiveThirtyEight released some new election predictions and I'm definitely worried.

Historically, the midterms are never good for the party that’s in the White House—but thanks to redistricting, we have an even tougher road:

Even if Democrats were to win all the races currently designated as toss-ups, plus hold on to all the seats they’re favored to win, they would still wind up short of the number they need for a majority.

If Democrats are going to hold the majority, we have to expand the map and win in places we haven’t before. Our party has ignored rural voters for too long, and BACKROADS PAC is working to change that.

Election Day is coming up quickly, but unfortunately, the summer is the toughest time to fundraise. We need re-take momentum and turn the tide ASAP if we are going to protect the House majority.
