John,

Merriam-Webster just changed its dictionary definitions of "male" and “female” to appease transgender activists.

There’s nothing more Orwellian than redefining words for political purposes.

While Dictionary.com and the Cambridge Dictionary still have accurate, traditional definitions of the two genders, Merriam-Webster now offers definitions rooted in “gender identity.”

In the event that you’re unfamiliar with “gender identity,” it refers to each person's internal and individual “experience” of gender.

I’m sure your eyes are rolling.

Merriam-Webster might think that gender is fluid, but facts and definitions should not be fluid. They should not be redefining words for political purposes.

When Americans wonder why the news they read is biased or distorted, this is why. Merriam-Webster is making it easier for activist-journalists to distort the facts rather than actually report on events.

I hope you’ll take action right now.
