It’s time to have a real discussion about paying for and caring for our aging population. I am the only candidate for Lt. Governor who has made this a cornerstone issue. Because I’m running a different type of campaign – focused on real issues impacting everyday lives.

During this holiday season, families are gathering for get-togethers where different generations are enjoying each other’s company. Many are worried about how they are going to care for their aging parents, who are long into retirement and looking at the final days of their lives.

So Many of us are trying to figure out how to navigate a complicated care system and how they are going to pay for it.

Caring for loved ones suffering from Alzheimer’s alone could wipe our Medicaid in the next 20 years.

I propose to pay for aging care assistance by regulating and taxing cannabis, which will provide as much as $450 million a year in new tax revenue.
