Congressman Al Green Urges Governor Abbott to Do the Righteous Thing by Putting an End to Uvalde Cover-up  

(Washington, D.C.) –  On Thursday, July 21, 2022, Congressman Al Green released the following statement:

“Today I spoke again on the House floor about the dangers of covering up the truth as it relates to the mass shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, TX. As chief executive of the State of Texas, it is Governor Greg Abbott’s obligation to the people he represents, as well as to the victims and their families, to come forward and share who told him that heroic actions took place on the day of the shooting.
