John,

When I was 28, I was diagnosed with Stage IV Follicular Lymphoma — an aggressive cancer. I was told it was incurable.

My whole world changed that day, and I decided that I wanted to make my life count, that I would make the time I had left matter.

But thanks to the hard work and incredible skill of the doctors and healthcare professionals at the University of Miami Sylvester Cancer Center, I beat my cancer. I was able to start a family, run a business, and live my life.

I’m still dedicated to making my life count, John. And that’s why I’m running to be your State Senator .

So many working Floridians don’t have access to the type of healthcare and medical services that saved my life. When I’m elected, I'll work to expand healthcare so that patients facing situations like mine can have access to the care they need and not go bankrupt.

If you stand with me, click here to watch and share my story.

I know what it means to fight, and I'm ready to fight for us in Florida's State Senate. Together, we can protect our rights, expand healthcare, and lower costs to ensure all Floridians can live the American Dream.

Thanks,
Janelle Perez
