Hi, this is Ayrillyn, Deputy Finance Director for the Eddie Geller campaign.

Could you take a minute to read this personal note about why it’s so important we elect Eddie Geller?

Growing up in the Tampa Bay area, I saw how our broken healthcare system hurts all of us.

My mom suffered from several severe physical disabilities. When I was just a kid, I started to notice that she was struggling to get the care she needed.

So many doctor appointments led nowhere, long calls to insurance companies ended in tears, and so many spaces were inaccessible to her.

At a young age, I asked my mother why things were so hard for her — and she explained to me that “It’s because of the people that make the rules. The senators and congresspeople and elected officials. They just don't understand what people like me need.”

From then on I knew that I wanted to learn more about politics and uplift candidates who understand that healthcare is a human right and are prepared to stand up for it.

But as I got older, I faced my own healthcare struggles. The only reason I stand here today is because of the great medical professionals who treated me.

That’s why I’m proud to work for Eddie Geller. He knows that healthcare is a human right and will fight for universal healthcare access when he’s in D.C.

Eddie is the real deal, John. Every day, I see Eddie live the values he talks about in his campaign. He makes sure that no one is left out or left behind. He listens wholeheartedly and does everything he can to make sure you have what you need.

I know that Eddie is the best candidate to fight for us in D.C. But right now, Eddie is up against a crowd of MAGA Republicans who promise to make healthcare more inaccessible for people like me.

That’s why this election is so important. Florida’s 15th District is one of the most competitive in the country, and we all need to be working together to win this critical seat.

Eddie works hard every day to deliver for his fellow Floridians, but he can’t do it alone.
