Big news, team!

Last night the Denton City Council moved to place our petition to decriminalize marijuana on the ballot in November. That means voters in Denton will soon be able to eliminate arrests for low-level marijuana offenses.

With this initiative, we can end the war on drugs in Denton AND boost turnout in the midterm election. This initiative will help us defeat Greg Abbott, elect Beto O’Rourke, and support Democrats up and down the ticket. That’s how we deliver progressive change in Texas—from the ground up.

But first we have to Get Out The Vote. Can you chip in $20 today to help our organizers register and mobilize voters in Denton and across Texas? [[link removed]] With this initiative, we can boost turnout 5-10%, which means thousands of votes to unseat Greg Abbott.

Help us Get Out The Vote! [[link removed]]

Team, progressive change doesn’t come easy in Texas—we have to fight for it. That’s why Ground Game Texas is working every day to put progressive policies like marijuana decriminalization on the ballot. With these initiatives we can not only end the war on drugs, but also register lots of new voters and mobilize them behind change.

With your help, we’ve already decriminalized marijuana in Austin, and put it on the ballot in cities across Texas. Now we have to do the hard work of getting out the vote. Can you chip in $20 right now to help our organizers bring progressive change to Texas? [[link removed]]

Help us mobilize voters to unseat Greg Abbott, elect Beto O’Rourke, and bring change to the state of Texas.

Thank you,

Mike Siegel
