Big tech is scared and for good reason.

Right now, we have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to rein in Big Tech with two historic bipartisan antitrust bills. But Congress goes on August Recess in three weeks so we need them to act now.

This is our FINAL window to urge Congress to take action and pass this legislation that would take on Big Tech’s monopoly power to reignite innovation, reinvigorate competition, and restore consumer choice:

• The American Innovation and Choice Online Act will prevent dominant platforms from rigging online marketplaces and increase opportunity for small businesses and entrepreneurs. For example: Instead of Amazon elevating its own products in search results, Big Tech monopolies would be prohibited from this “self-preferencing” to restore fair competition and consumer choice.

• The Open App Markets Act will set fair, clear, and enforceable rules to protect competition and strengthen consumer protections within the app market. For example: Instead of only allowing people to download apps from their own stores, where they take a 30% cut from every purchase, Google and Apple would have to allow consumers the option to install apps from other sources to restore fair competition for app developers and lower costs for consumers.

Once Congress goes on their summer recess, we won’t have another chance to pass these bills. Urge your Senators to support this historic bipartisan legislation to rein in Big Tech monopolies:

We need to keep the pressure up on Congress since Big Tech is desperately trying to stop these bills. All together, Big Tech has spent over $36 million to squash these bills. They’re pulling out all the stops with massive TV ad buys spreading lies about the legislation like how these bills will end Amazon Prime, but that’s not the case.

We’re a small nonprofit up against Big Tech’s millions. And we’re not going to back down. With your support, we’re going to keep fighting to hold these companies accountable — and together we can win:
