Dear members and allies,

Great news! Last week, the Senate passed an amendment to the Transportation Bond Bill that would create a low-income fare at the MBTA! This important step happened because people like you raised your voices in support of making sure all riders can afford to ride public transit.

Now, a conference committee has been appointed to come up with a final version of the legislation. We have a short window of time to let them know how important it is to keep low-income fares in the bill.

Please join us and Public Transit Public Good Coalition in letting the conference committee members know ([link removed]) you support retaining the low-income fare language in the final version of the Transportation Bond Bill.

You can send a send an email ([link removed]) to your legislator at the Public Transit Public Good website.

Thank you for standing with the riders and workers of the Public Transit Public Good Coalition! Visit PublicTransitPublicGood.org ([link removed]) to learn more and get involved.

In Solidarity,

Lee Matsueda
