There are critical elections happening across our state this year — including ours in TX-07. The convention underscored the urgency of electing leaders like Lizzie who fight for true Texas priorities, like access to health care, common sense gun-safety measures, and our rights and equality as Texans. And it also reminded us how important it is to have people on the ground getting others to the polls.
You play a vital role in making that happen. #TeamLizzie is working together to re-elect Lizzie so she can keep fighting for us in Congress, and we’re so grateful for your support and all you do for our campaign.

Texas is number one in the country for total number of farms. Our agriculture industry plays a critical role in our nation’s economy, contributing billions of dollars each year.
Lizzie listens to the concerns of Texas’ farmers and ranchers and stands up for them in Congress to make sure they have the resources they need to thrive, drive our economy, and ensure Texas families have food on the table.
These endorsements provide essential momentum for our campaign, and with 16 weeks to go until Election Day, we’re thrilled to have the support of organizations like the Texas Farm Bureau AGFUND.

“Lawmakers push Biden to declare public health emergency on abortion”
July 12, 2022
In case you missed it: Earlier this month, President Biden took an important step by signing an executive order protecting access to abortion medication and emergency contraception. Lizzie led a group of more than 80 members of Congress urging President Biden to take the additional step of declaring the end of Roe v. Wade and nationwide abortion rights a public health emergency.
Because, let’s be clear, this is an emergency. The Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe has created and will continue to create a health crisis for millions. Experts say it will cause the U.S. maternal mortality rate to rise — a rate that is already the highest of any developed country.
“The president’s executive order was a good place to start,
but not a good place to stop. To respond effectively, we need to use every tool available to protect patients and health care providers.”
