JIM IS THE ONLY U.S. SENATORIAL CANDIDATE PROPOSING SOLUTIONS FOR ARIZONA'S
WATER CRISIS. READ ABOUT HIS PLAN BELOW

The Southwest is experiencing the worst drought in 1200 years. That has left
reservoirs well below their former levels, with Lake Mead just 24% of capacity
and Lake Powell at 27%.

The Colorado River is an essential part of life in the Southwest with more
than 40 million people who rely on it for agriculture, hydrogeneration of
electricity, and drinking water.

Building an 1120-mile-long pipeline from the Mississippi River, along the
I-80 Corridor, to supply 4 million acre-feet of water per year to the upper
Colorado River will alleviate the current deficiency.

The Mississippi River passes 150-million-acre feet of water per year at the
proposed diversion at Davenport, Iowa. Just a small percentage of that water
via a 30-foot diameter pipeline tunnel can convey the much-needed
4-million-acre feet of water to Colorado, Arizona, Utah, and Nevada and can be
completed 3 years after permitting.

For more on Arizona's water crisis, please watch Jim's ad here.
