The incumbent in my race is a Chevron-funded politician who opposes the Green New Deal.

Even though Washington’s 6th District has hundreds of miles of coastline — communities that could be underwater if we continue with business as usual.

Even though over 1,000 people died during last summer’s heatwave in the Pacific Northwest.

Even though his constituents have been asking him for years to support the Green New Deal.

If we don’t end the fossil fuel industry and rapidly transition to 100% renewable energy, all other issues will become moot.

It is inexcusable to take money from Chevron and other fossil fuel corporations when the climate crisis threatens human civilization.

That’s why I’m proud to have taken the No Fossil Fuel Money pledge. I’m the only candidate in my race who has.
