John –

Everywhere he goes, Steve Bannon sows chaos.

He prides himself on it.

Just look at his offer this week to publicly testify before the January 6th Committee. While he no doubt has information the Committee deserves and has sought, Bannon wants to testify publicly in order to turn the proceedings by a serious and somber select committee into a three-ring Steve Bannon circus.

But the chaos in Steve Bannon’s plan runs deeper. He doesn’t just want to make a mockery of Congress – he wants to make a mockery of the entire U.S. government. Help us stop this dangerous right-wing ideology by making a contribution in support of those who will fight back against Bannon’s outlandish ideas >>

At the beginning of Trump’s presidency, Bannon said he was fighting for the “deconstruction of the administrative state.” One of government’s core roles is to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to succeed. Bannon and his right-wing groupies don’t like that idea, and they’ve gone full-bore against effective and efficient government.

And John, they’re succeeding.

Trump and Bannon may not be anywhere near the White House anymore, but their legacy continues through the ultra-conservative justices they appointed to the Supreme Court with the express goal of dismantling our government.

Neil Gorsuch.

Brett Kavanaugh.

Amy Coney Barrett.

Now, through an attack on environmental protections, the Supreme Court is dismantling the ability of the federal government to effectively govern. And Steve Bannon is loving it.

That’s a big reason we need to reform the Supreme Court now. Hank wrote – and is fighting to pass – the legislation that will save the court from itself.

Court expansion. Mandatory code of ethics. Recusal standards. Disclosure of dark-money lobbying. These are the tools we have to push back against Steve Bannon’s chaotic vision for our future.

Will you help Hank fight back against Bannon’s agenda by making a contribution today? secure.actblue.com/donate/HJGA-04-Email-July2022-FR-CourtReform?refcode=E17068-20220716-BannonDeconstruction-SL2pt-SCOTUS-RegTemplate-GOP-NA&amount=15

Thank you for holding the line.
