The healthcare industry is in full attack mode as single-payer health plans rise in popularity among Democrats. Lobbyists working on behalf of hospitals and insurance groups helped write and revise op-eds written by lawmakers critical of Medicare-for-All proposals being suggested by leading Democratic candidates. These groups have been spending millions on ads in an attempt to scare Americans away from affordable healthcare and keep them on expensive private insurance.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump has proposed trillions of dollars in budget cuts to Medicaid and Medicare over the next 10 years, threatening the livelihoods of millions of Americans.
