English Democrats Weekly Roundup

Voters across all party allegiances, views on Brexit, and
age profiles think there should be an annual cap on the number of
migrant arrivals to the country after a Brexit, a new poll has
found.
A majority of voters in the United Kingdom support what amounts to
a radical re-think on immigration control, agreeing to changes to the
present system that go well beyond anything on offer from the
mainstream political parties.
Capping immigration would require democracy to be
introduced. I wouldn't bet my mortgage on it happening anytime
soon!

The son of the bumbling shadow Home Secretary Diane Abbott
has been charged over alleged attacks on police officers.
Former civil servant James Abbott-Thompson, 28, was arrested on
Friday last week after an incident at the Foreign Office, where he
used to work. Police later charged him with two counts of assault by
beating an emergency services worker and a public order offence.
Once Diane leaves the political stage, maybe James could step
up to the mark. He'd be well suited for the modern Labour party. Watch
this space!

You really couldn't make it up! London mayor Sadiq Khan
told reporters that diversity is one of our capital’s strengths in the
wake of the London Bridge attack.
“Look, I’m mayor of the greatest city in the world, and one of our
strengths is our diversity,” he told reporters shortly the attack by
Usman Khan, a convicted radical Islamic terrorist who had been freed
from prison on a tag after serving less than half of a 16-year term,
which left two dead and three injured.
Have you ever noticed that India, Africa, China ect are
never urged to become more diverse. Diversity is only pushed on
Western nations. Coincidence?

Labour has expressed its “deep regret” over selecting a
woman who had allegedly made antisemitic social media posts in the
past as its candidate to fight the seat of Falkirk in December’s snap
general election.
The Labour Party said it took “immediate action” to remove
“Community Development Practitioner” Safia Ali as their candidate in
the election — but likely not fast enough to have her appear on the
ballot paper alongside the logo, title, and election slogan of the
Labour Party.
We'll see if the police take action. I'm sure they'll be
too busy busting into the homes and arresting people for saying
unpleasant things about Islam.
Yours sincerely
