I know we have been emailing a lot lately, but it's for a good reason.

Our team reviewed our monthly fundraising numbers and unfortunately, we are pacing behind on our goals.

When Robert launched his campaign to defend California families, he vowed to reject corporate PAC money. So this campaign is funded by grassroots supporters like yourself, and without your support, we won't be able to send Robert to Washington.

As we approach November, we want to be in the best position to take on our extreme conservative opponent and make sure we can focus on what matters most: the policies that will directly affect Californians.

We are already halfway through July and well into the general election, but we have a lot of ground left to cover in terms of fundraising.
