Hi John,

We’re taking the next steps on Three Waters - and we want to hear from you.

Even if you’re not one of the thousands of Kiwis who are forced to boil their water before it’s safe to drink, you’ve probably heard about the issues with New Zealand’s water.

After years of neglect, our water systems are facing a crisis. Pipes are crumbling, people are getting sick and our waterways are contaminated with sewage. It will cost billions to fix these issues - meaning Kiwi households are facing up to $9,000 a year in water bills.

This needs to change. We’ve set out our plan to fix New Zealand’s water and ensure it’s healthy - and affordable - for everyone.

Our plan will ensure all Kiwis, no matter where they live, can access safe, reliable water. It will save households thousands of dollars every year, through a new, more cost effective system for managing water. It will also stop sewage from ending up in our rivers, streams and beaches. You can read more here <[link removed]>.

Now we want to hear from you. The first part of our plan, the Water Services Entities Bill, is open for submissions, giving people around New Zealand the chance to have their say.

If you’re keen to share your views on our Three Waters plan, make a submission today. <[link removed]>

MAKE A SUBMISSION <[link removed]>Submissions close next Friday. Don’t miss your opportunity to have your say on this important reform - make your submission now <[link removed]>.

Thanks,

Labour Campaigns Team
