A message from Deb Baldus McGrath

Our mid-month fundraising deadline is 11:59 pm TOMORROW, and with just 26 days left in this race, we’re in danger of falling behind.

PITCH IN

As a little girl here in Wisconsin, I never could have imagined where my life would take me.

Deb as a young girl

First, to Northern Virginia and D.C., where I watched my dad serve our Wisconsin community in Congress. My parents raised me and my siblings to know that service is one of the highest callings - that it is our duty to do what we can to create a better world.

Then, after joining the military (following my father’s example) to serve our country, I volunteered for the DMZ in Korea - and was later one of a few women in positions of leadership.

When Kevin and I got married, military assignments took us (and our children!) across the country and to some of our nation’s most challenging postings abroad.

We instilled in our family the same values my parents gave me: a love of country, gratitude for what we have, the importance of giving back, and a determination to always do what is right.

John, everywhere I’ve been, everything I’ve done - it’s all been leading up to right now.

The race for Wisconsin’s 3rd district is among the closest in the country, and our movement will only succeed with dedicated supporters like you on our side. Can you chip in $25 or anything that works for you to help hold WI-03 for Democrats and keep our country moving forward?

I’m running for Congress because my life has taken me to places of great challenge, but western and central Wisconsin have always been the “home” I was protecting and serving. I know that, aside from raising my children, the most important thing I could ever do is to give back to the community that shaped me.

I’m running because my career has shown me time and time again that democracies are fragile, and I know that ours is under attack.

I’m running because my children’s generation deserves to experience the same kind of natural beauty I’ve seen on all my travels and right here in WI - but the existential threat of climate change is putting their future in peril.

I’m running because this is not a time when anyone can sit back and relax, and I’ve always stood up to serve when needed.

John, this mission is one of the most important of my life, and I’m counting on your support. Please, donate anything you can to say you’re on my team >>>
