In 1997, Lillian's List was formed to support pro-choice, progressive women running for office in NC. What started as a small, volunteer-run organization has since grown to a staff of six and thousands of donors and supporters working statewide to elect women at all levels of office. 

Will you join us for our Lead with Lillian 25th Anniversary Reception on September 22 in Raleigh to celebrate the progress we've made? Because of the pro-choice women we've helped elect, NC still has access to abortion while almost all of our neighboring states have enacted strict bans.

At the reception, you'll get to mingle with our inspiring Featured Candidates and hear from Congresswomen Kathy Manning and Deborah Ross. We'll also present the 2022 Jan Allen Courage Award to a woman legislator who has shown courage in standing up for women, children, and families.

This event is part of our multi-day summit, which includes the Lead with Lillian Abortion Activist Training on Sept. 22 and Lead with Lillian Day of Action on Sept 24. Join us to learn how to be more effective advocates for abortion rights at the training and then participate in our day of canvassing and phone banking to drive turnout for our statewide Featured Candidates.
