I’ll get right to the point – Georgia Republicans are trying to ban abortion in our state. If they're successful, abortion will remain illegal in Georgia unless we elect Democrats this November.

In 2019, the state passed HB 481 which would criminalize most abortions after six weeks of pregnancy – before many women even know they’re pregnant. Now that Roe v. Wade has been overturned, Georgia Republicans are going to attempt to put their abortion ban into effect later this summer.

That’s why it is so crucial that Democrats win back statewide power in Georgia in our November elections – it is the only way we can ensure abortion remains legal in Georgia for the forseeable future.
