FiveThirtyEight just released some new election predictions and I won’t sugar coat it: I'm worried.

Historically, the midterms are never good for the party that’s in the White House—but thanks to redistricting, we have an even tougher road:

This is exactly why I started BACKROADS PAC. I know that if Democrats are going to hold the majority, we have to expand the map and win in places we haven’t before. Democrats have ignored rural voters for too long, and we’re working to change that.

Right now, I’m nervous because the summer is the toughest time to fundraise. While we know more people are fired up after the Supreme Court’s decisions to roll back our rights, we need that momentum to turn into resources to protect the House.
