We're excited to offer two unique trainings this summer. The November election is all hands on deck for people who want to protect abortion access in North Carolina.
Our Featured Candidates are running in super competitive elections for the state legislature. The NC state legislature is the last line of defense for abortion in the entire southeast. Our candidates need big teams of volunteers to help them win. Learn the ins and outs of campaign volunteering at our virtual July 30th from 10am-1pm volunteer training. We will connect you to our candidates in your area who need support!
We are hosting our second annual Elect Women of Color Training at the end of August. Last year we trained 35 women of color in how to run a strong modern campaign and how to work around the barriers facing women of color running for office. Several of our training alumni are currently running for office!
The 2022 training will largely be virtual but have an optional in-person networking opportunity and panel with elected women of color. All WOC who are currently running for office, or considering a run should apply for this training! The full schedule is listed on the application.
