I hate asking for money.
Maybe it’s my middle class upbringing…
Or the fact that I worked my butt off to get through college and law school…
But asking for donations is definitely my LEAST favorite part of campaigning.
And it shows.
According to the last reporting at the end of March:
Mark Kelly had raised over $38 million for his reelection…
Jim Lamon had raised over $13 million (that includes a heart seven-figure loan of his own money to his campaign)…
And Blake Masters was at close to $4 million.
Meanwhile, I’d raised about $2.5MM.
See?
And yet here’s the crazy thing:
Even though I don’t have some fundraising machine like my opponents…
I’m still right in the thick of the GOP Senate Primary.
I guess it’s my track record…
And the fact that I’ve spent the last 7 years vigorously fighting for conservative values in the state of Arizona…
But considering that Masters is the Big Tech protégé of a literal billionaire…
While I’m a public servant…
Neck-and-neck is pretty good.
Pretty good, but not great.
This is the final stretch…
There are less than 21 days left until the August 2^nd Primary…
And if we’re going to win this thing, and get into position to defeat Mark Kelly this November…
Then I need your help.
That’s why, even though I hate asking for money…
I’m going to do it.
$5, $20, $50…
Every donation ([link removed]) makes a difference and whatever you’re able to give, I will be grateful for.
Trust me, I wouldn’t be asking if the stakes weren’t so insanely high.
But they are.
Many people have said that I’ve got the best chance to beat Mark Kelly in a general election…
But if we don’t get out of the primary, that won’t matter.
That’s why it’s so vital that we finish strong and WIN this primary…
And I need your help to make that happen.
I don’t know about you…
But I know another 6 years of “Senator Kelly” will be a disaster for America…
