It’s official (well, according to him) – former South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg is now a Michigan resident.

He’s supposedly making the move to be closer to family, but I doubt that’s the whole story.

In just the past few years, Pete has been: a failed mayor, a failed presidential candidate, and now, a failed secretary of transportation. And you can bet Pete knows he has a much better chance of winning statewide office in Michigan than in Indiana.

His radical, arch-liberal views just don’t work here in the Hoosier State, so he’s abandoning Indiana Democrats for greener electoral pastures.

Mayor Pete has a knack for failing his constituents, so he should fit right in with far-left Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer. And, frankly, our neighbors to the north are welcome to claim him.

Meanwhile, let’s focus on keeping Indiana red this November and taking back our great country.
