Texas’s power grid is still broken, friend.

Once again Texans are facing the risk of our power grid failing and the electricity turning off— this time with temperatures reaching 113 degrees in parts of the state.

Back in May ERCOT, the state’s electricity regulator, said they were confident the lights would stay on this summer. Now families are being asked to conserve energy in sweltering heat. Why? Because instead of fixing the power grid, Greg Abbott let his oil and gas donors regulate themselves—and he collected millions in campaign cash from them.

Enough is enough. Texans can’t afford four more years of Greg Abbott’s corruption and incompetence. Pitch in $25 to help our organizers register voters and mobilize them ahead of November’s election. [[link removed]]

Friend, after the power grid failed in 2021, Greg Abbott swore he would do everything in his power to fix it. But instead, he let the oil and gas industry off scott free—and collected millions in campaign contributions from energy CEOs.

Now Texans are facing record high energy bills and are still at risk of losing power – even as temperatures surpass the triple digits in parts of the state. Texans are tired of being asked to conserve power while Abbott lines his pockets with oil and gas money.

Ground Game Texas is working hard to register and mobilize voters ahead of the November midterms. With your help, we can unseat Greg Abbott and fix our broken power grid. If you can, chip in $25 to help us unseat Greg Abbott and bring progressive change to Texas. [[link removed]]
