While the Democrats are pushing an immediate transition to green energy that we are NOT ready for, my plan takes a commonsense approach to lowering gas prices by increasing our domestic production of oil and gas and also investing in reliable clean energy options, like nuclear. Check out the video we released this week highlighting the differences between my plan and the Democrats’: Sharice Davids’ Hypocrisy Davids has continuously touted her proposed legislation to ban members of Congress from owning individual stocks, but it was recently reported that she herself owned shares in numerous green energy companies and was voting for federal funding that would directly benefit these companies. After the Washington Free Beacon published a piece calling out Davids’ hypocrisy, she quietly sold off all her shares right before the 4th of July weekend in order to avoid media coverage. These actions are a blatant misuse of congressional power and the definition of hypocritical.
