The threat of gun violence has shaken us to the core once again this week. The senseless death and pain that our society is forced to reconcile with in the absence of policy solutions that prioritize our health and wellbeing really is devastating.

We need to take action NOW.

We all want to keep people safe - that’s why we’re fighting for policies that are proven to reduce gun violence, protect children, and make our communities safer. I have developed a thorough policy platform to address gun violence prevention in New York, here:

Our policy actions must reflect our desire to see safe streets and thriving communities. That’s why I am honored to share that our campaign has received the Gun Sense Candidate Distinction from Moms Demand Action for advocating for the strongest policies for gun violence prevention.

When I get to Albany, I will fight tirelessly to live up to this distinction. But I can’t get there without your support.
