John, now that we can’t count on the courts to protect our fundamental rights, the task lies with our elected leaders.

Now that the Supreme Court has overturned the constitutional right to access abortion care, our Democratic leaders must codify reproductive rights at the federal level.

Here in Wisconsin, all abortion clinics closed after the Court’s decision because of an archaic, pre-Roe ban from 1849.

Meanwhile, Mitch McConnell proposed a national abortion ban if they take back control in Washington after the next presidential election.

The majority of Americans believe that abortion should be legal. The only way to restore and secure reproductive freedom is to codify abortion rights federally as soon as possible.

Deb is a mother of three and knows that the decision of if and when to have children is the most consequential choice a person can make. She will always support women’s right to determine their own reproductive futures.
