Friend, the Los Angeles Times just broke that what we do, well, works.

Let’s take you back before January 6th. Right after Biden won, Trump was throwing everything he could at the wall to try to overturn the election. Court case after court case. (They lost ‘em all). But we knew our work wasn’t over because Trump wasn’t going down without a fight.

What did we do? We called out their spineless attempts, and called out the shady lawyers leading their assault on our Constitution. It was clear to us then that their attacks wouldn’t stop, and we needed to shine a light on their corruption for the American people.

The Trump White House’s response? Pressure Bill Barr’s Justice Department to attack us. They attacked me, Reed, and Stuart by name…and wanted the DOJ to take us out.

A new document proves that the Trump White House tried to use the Justice Department to come down on us. After we kept highlighting their corrupt antics, Trump’s campaign opposition research goons wrote a dossier attacking us. Mark Meadows went to Bill Barr so the DOJ would attack us. When someone tells you we’re not in Trump’s head, remember that…hell, they even attacked us by name. 

These thugs thought we’d be intimidated. They were wrong.

We’ve always stood up to Trump and his authoritarian bullying. We count on you, the people reading this email, to make sure we can stay in the fight.

As the January 6th Committee proved, just a few patriots were all that stood between Trump’s coup and the rule of law. Without the Shayes and the Rubys and even the Cassidy Hutchinsons, Trump would have stolen every vote he could find, pressured every election official he could, and even driven his limo right up to the Capitol and strolled onto the House floor with his violent mob. 

Even Trump’s frenemy Ron DeSantis said a month before the election that state legislatures could give the election to Trump. Guess what he’d have done if we just gave up?

We were and are the only SuperPAC living rent-free in Trump’s head. We were the ones he truly feared in the 2020 election. Now we know how far he tried to go to punish us for leading the charge and for using our 1st Amendment rights to hammer his corrupt plan to steal the election. 

We said well before the election that Donald Trump was a power-hungry authoritarian who would stop at nothing to cling to the Oval Office. Even before January 6th, we warned he would resort to violence and cheating to hold power. 

Other groups stopped fighting after Election Day. We did the work no other group could or would do…and you helped us get the job done in 2020. 

We never quit. We never stop fighting for this country. Stand with us.
