Dallas, TX – Pursuing the American dream and achieving generational wealth has become increasingly difficult with the alarming lack of affordable housing. That is why I introduced H.R. 8235 – the Housing Supply Expansion Act – to help increase the supply of affordable housing by removing archaic red-tape requirements under the Davis-Bacon Act. Redundant and overly burdensome requirements are causing widespread truck driver shortages, hindering our workforce, and worsening the supply chain crisis. That is why I joined Rep. Troy Balderson's (OH-12) letter to Department of Transportation Secretary Buttigieg to streamline the licensing process for prospective drivers.
