John ,As we near the halfway point of this year and our end-of-quarter deadline tonight, I am reflecting on all of the ways this grassroots community has helped me this year.

FIRST: After Georgia Republicans destroyed my old district with a partisan gerrymander, you powered me to victory in a Democratic primary in May – where we took 63% of the vote in a decisive victory. I was able to run a campaign that was powered by over 50,000 grassroots contributions from Georgia and all around the country. Thank you, John, for your support.

THEN: After two more horrific mass shootings that drove nationwide headlines – including at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas – Congress finally took action on gun safety reform. By sharing my son’s story and the stories of so many other survivors and victims of gun violence, I was able to push my colleagues in the House and the Senate to finally pass meaningful gun safety reform for the first time since 1994.

NOW: We are in a unique position after the Supreme Court struck down Roe v. Wade last week, and I am going to continue to need your support so I can fight for reproductive rights and abortion access here in Georgia. Our state legislature will likely try to pass a total abortion ban as early as July, and we need to be ready to organize on the ground to do everything we can to stop it.
