Dear John,

After 49 years, it is truly surreal to witness the decision by six courageous justices on the Supreme Court who finally, mercifully, overturned the most destructive court decision in history. The tireless work of hundreds of thousands over five decades was finally realized, as the Constitution was followed and abortion law was rightfully returned to the people’s legislative representatives.

The responsibility now shifts to Congress and state legislatures to match the courage of the Supreme Court justices by passing laws to support life from conception and eliminate the scourge of abortion. I am proud to tell you that I am leading that charge in Washington!

I have sponsored a discharge petition in the House of Representatives in an effort to force a Floor vote on the Life at Conception Act which would recognize the scientific fact that life begins at conception and is protected by the 14th Amendment. So far, 54 of my Republican colleagues have joined me in signing my discharge petition.

But, as you can imagine, I am coming under attack for my principled and uncompromising stand to protect all life in the womb. Of course, the Democrat Party in Washington and Richmond is in lockstep in their extreme radical support of abortion at any time, for any reason, up to and beyond the moment of birth, paid for by your tax dollars. But, most disappointing is the resistance by weak-kneed and compromising Republicans, and even supposed “pro-life” groups, who have been so quick to call for only very modest efforts such as 15-week or 20-week bans that would make little difference in reducing abortions or saving life in the womb.

There are an average of 14,000 abortions every year in Virginia, and the fact is, over 90% take place before 15 weeks, and nearly all abortions occur before 20 weeks. But, some Republicans are proposing this kind of legislation, even knowing that no Democrat will support any restrictions on abortion.

We must rise to the moment and seize the opportunity to boldly fight to protect all life and eliminate abortion. We must not fall prey to the lies of the Left, believing that the Life issue is a political loser for us. We must do that which all Republicans promise to do when campaigning and fundraising, and that is truly fight to protect all life.

I pledge to you that I will continue to stand unashamedly and unapologetically for life from conception, without exception. I will be an unwavering voice for the voiceless, and relentlessly fight to expose Democrats as the party of death, and those Republicans who are shirking in the battle when we need them most.
But, my stance will come at a cost, and so I need your help. I do not have the support of the establishment machine, so I must depend on the support of grass roots conservatives like you.

As you may know, I am in Virginia’s most competitive Republican district, and I only won with 52% of the vote when I first ran in 2020. And, the opposition is even more determined to defeat me after my two years of demonstrating a consistent commitment to our true conservative principles, on the issue of Life and more.

Will you help me today with your most generous contribution to my campaign, so that I can continue to fight for you in Washington, and for the issues that matter most in our country?

We have a deadline tonight for the end-of-quarter fundraising report, so your online gift before midnight will demonstrate the strength of our campaign on this report.

Thank you and God bless you!

For Life,

Bob

P.S. Please join me in Richmond at the State Capitol on Saturday, July 9, at 4 p.m. as we take a stand to completely abolish abortion in Virginia. For more details about buses, church groups, and parking, please email [email protected].
