Last night, nearly 40% of Utah Republicans voted to replace Mike Lee. For a man who didn’t face any primary challengers in his 2016 race, that’s a big deal.

Republicans are walking away from Lee and his ineffective and divisive agenda. They’re just one part of the cross-partisan majority that’s fed up with his divisive politics — a majority that wants to send more independent leadership to Washington.

If you’re part of this majority, now is the time to join our movement. We have a critical FEC End-of-Quarter deadline tomorrow at midnight and we need your help hitting our $125,000 goal to compete with Mike Lee. Can I count on you to chip in $25?

The truth is, a majority of Utahns know Senator Lee is failing us — and they’re ready to replace him. Last night’s results proved what we already know: His support is weak, both in his own party and outside of it.

If Utahns unite on common ground, we can send Mike Lee home in November. Our coalition has what it takes to win, in part because of the values we all believe in: truth, decency, equality, and a commitment to democracy.

We’re working for Utahns — and unlike Senator Lee, we won’t take any corporate PAC money, answer to party bosses, or play to the extremes.

Mike Lee has ALREADY launched attack ads against us. And in the months ahead, we are going to need your support more than ever to make sure we have the resources to compete with Lee and the special interests groups funding his campaign.

That’s why I’m humbly asking for your support. Will you join the majority of Utahns ready for change by chipping in to support our movement in this tight, two-way race?

Utah deserves better, and America needs what Utah’s modeled: constructive, cross-partisan leadership. I look forward to the weeks ahead, to hearing more from Utahns on the campaign trail, and to challenging Senator Lee in November.
