As Minnesota’s chief elections officer, I’m in the democracy business. That means I make it my business to defend democracy, to protect the freedom to vote, and to lead with the truth.

The 2020 election was a stress-test for democracy. And Minnesota aced the test.

For the third election in a row, Minnesota’s voter turnout was #1 in the nation. Nearly 80% of eligible voters voted. That’s a modern-day record.

Numbers like that speak for themselves. What they say is: Minnesotans have faith in our elections – and they vote in record numbers because they know our elections are fundamentally fair, accurate, honest, and secure.

But my opponent and disinformation activists have pledged to flip this seat in November. Our biggest quarterly fundraising deadline is tomorrow at midnight and we still need to raise $7.5k. This deadline is make or break for my campaign. Will you chip in $10 or more right now?

Another huge challenge is disinformation. That’s a polite way of saying: Lies about our election system – and about the last election in particular.

Those who spread the disinformation about our election system claim to be motivated by election integrity, including my opponent. Give me a break.
