Investigations like this usually don't happen fast. You've probably wondered why they're going at the pace they're going. It might seem glacially slow at times. 

Then a day like today happens, and all bets are off. As Rick said earlier, watching today's hearings, "Merrick Garland, call your office."

So what could have happened to bring the committee members back from across the country so suddenly? What testimony could be so important? Oh, hmm…

"I don't f*ing care that they have weapons. They're not here to hurt me... let my people in. They can march to the Capitol from here."

That's Trump, screaming at the Secret Service to take him to the Capitol.

The Secret Service tried to take him back to the White House. He went nuts, at one point trying to grab the steering wheel of his limo away from the Secret Service, and when he couldn't, he went for one of his agents' throats. You know, normal Presidential behavior.

"I'm the f*ing President, take me to the Capitol now."

No wonder he didn't want to go back to the White House, where when he was told that Bill Barr debunked his election fraud claims in public, he threw a temper tantrum and threw his lunch at a wall. Ketchup slowly dripping down the wall in the White House is one hell of a visual. But then, so was what was happening at the Capitol:

As the rioters made their way into the Capitol -- killing a police officer and threatening the lives of his Vice President along with everyone else inside -- Mark Meadows told Cippolone that Trump "doesn't want to do anything, Pat."

The mob at the Capitol "Hang Mike Pence." Trump's response, according to Meadows? 

"He thinks Mike deserves it. He doesn't think they're doing anything wrong"

Trump knew there would be violence. He knew his mob had weapons. And he sent them to the Capitol. This was all part of his plan.

What more proof does America need?
