Our opponent finally said something about the court’s decision on Roe. He’s delighted.

I'm Laney, and I run Jeff's finance team.

Friends,

It’s Laney again, Jeff’s Finance Director.

I wasn’t planning on emailing you again so soon, but something interesting just happened.

Our opponent has said almost nothing for his entire campaign.

Why? Because he has a consultant who is telling him to remain motionless and quiet and just hope that attack ads against Jeff are enough to win.

So after the Roe decision, we wondered if he would actually voice an opinion.

And he has: He’s delighted.

Our opponent “applauds the Supreme Court” for overturning Roe.

He broke his vow of silence to let people know that if you can count on him for anything, it’s to eliminate a woman’s right to make her own reproductive decisions.

I think that speaks volumes.

Jeff isn’t clapping for this huge step backwards - he’s committed to passing a federal statute that codifies into law the freedom that Roe guaranteed for women.

In short, I hope you’ll help us do that by chipping in.
