Notification of Recently Issued Determination Letter

You are receiving this email because you have signed up to be notified when the Regulatory Compliance Division of the Office of the Governor commences a review of a rule or issues a determination letter on a rule under review. Established pursuant to Subchapter C, Chapter 57, Texas Occupations Code, the Regulatory Compliance Division conducts an independent review of certain state agencies? rules that affect market competition to assess their consistency with state policy as clearly articulated by the Legislature in state statute.

The Regulatory Compliance Division has recently issued a determination letter for the following rule:


* Texas Department of Motor Vehicles, Title 43 Texas Administrative Code ?211.6 (RCD Rule Review #2022-003).

The division has approved the proposed rule establishing fingerprinting requirements for dealer applicants for and holders of a general distinguishing number (GDN).
