Our Giving Tuesday deadline passed at midnight last night, and we came up just $4,743 short of our ambitious goal to raise $100,000 in support of those seeking safety from violence and persecution.
Because we came so close to hitting our goal, and because the needs of refugees and asylum seekers are only continuing to grow around the world, we’re giving everybody one more chance to help us expand our life-changing work to reach even more people. If everyone reading this makes a gift, we will close this gap. We don’t know exactly what challenges refugees and asylum seekers will face in 2020, but we know that HIAS’ work will be as vital as always. If we reach our goal today, we’ll be better equipped to expand our work on the ground in 2020. Refugees are counting on us to be there. This couldn’t be a more impactful moment to step up with your first gift.
