Unlike Rand Paul, we rely on grassroots donations from supporters like you to fund this work.

We’re proud to be a people-powered campaign. But to be frank with you, it’s not easy.
Not accepting donations from special interests, corporate PACs, or the fossil fuel industry puts us at a huge financial disadvantage in comparison to Rand Paul who gets million dollar checks from his friends in the gun lobby and fossil fuel industry.
It means we have to work two times (if not three times) as hard as other campaigns to raise the resources we need to be competitive in this race. It also means we’re really relying on donations from emails like this to stay on pace with our fundraising goals.
But we know it’s the necessary choice if we want to create a new kind of politics that’s built by people and not beholden to the dark money that’s influenced our leaders for too long.
