It has happened, John. The Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade.

For those of us born after Roe, it's UNFATHOMABLE for us to even understand how severely this will transform the landscape of women's reproductive health in America. Already, nearly HALF of the states have or will pass laws that outright ban abortion. Others have enacted harsh measures strictly measuring it.

The consequences of this utterly devastating SCOTUS decision will be felt by ALL women in this country. Women of color. Rural women. Women who are pregnant from rape. Women who were told by doctors that their unborn fetus has little chance of surviving birth. Women who cannot afford to raise a child or who do not have a suitable living environment to do so. Women who don't have the means to travel to a state where abortion is still legal. Women who have had condoms break during sex. Women whose pregnancies were misdiagnosed. Women who didn't know until later in the cycle that they are pregnant. Women whose health is at risk with childbirth. But it's not even just these women who will suffer. It's ALL WOMEN and ALL individuals who can become pregnant, who just lost the constitutional right to complete bodily autonomy.

Allow yourself to process the weight of this and what it means to you and your loved ones. Allow yourself to cry. Allow yourself to be livid, to be f****g pissed. Turn that anger into power and that power into action. Let's put up a hell of a fight.
