Republicans have a tremendous opportunity in 2020. If we elect two Republican Justices to the New Mexico Supreme Court, we will have a Republican majority on the New Mexico Supreme Court for the first time in 1oo years.   Imagine what that means!  Think of all the issues that may come before a Republican majority New Mexico Supreme Court in 2021 and after.

I’m the only Republican candidate running in 2020 for the New Mexico Supreme Court, Position 2, and we are actively recruiting an attorney to run for Position 1. But, I need your help. To have my name placed on the ballot on November 3, 2020, I need to obtain a minimum of 3000 registered Republican signatures on my nominating petitions. Enclosed with this letter is a blank copy of my nominating petition which I am asking you to print out and sign. Also, please ask your registered Republican family and friends to sign the petition as well. Why am I’m running for the New Mexico Supreme Court?
I am running because I believe that our courts are overburdened with lawsuits. Our courts have been asked to do more than was ever intended by the Constitution and the Founding Fathers. At the same time, our constitutional rights are under siege by creative trial lawyers and others who seek to circumvent these fundamental rights. My commitment is to faithfully interpret the Constitution and the laws enacted by the legislature and signed into law by the President, the Governor, and other chief executives that are duly elected by the people.
