As former Chief Justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court, I want to be 100% clear: Reproductive freedom is a constitutional right.

This decision is exactly what extreme right-wing politicians like my opponent Ted Budd fought for. Next on their list is a full federal ban on abortion. Ted Budd wants a total ban on abortion without exceptions. And it will not stop there. This decision also lays the groundwork for attacks on LGBTQ+ rights from the Supreme Court.
