A protest sign which says "I love someone who had an abortion"

It’s official — the US Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade.

This ruling abolishes the constitutional protection of abortion in the United States. It triggers laws in 26 states that will severely limit or ban abortion. It puts approximately 40 million women and girls at risk of unsafe pregnancies and dangerous abortions. It entrenches systemic racism and economic injustice. It emboldens anti-woman, anti-LGBTI+, and anti-gender extremists around the globe.

It’s exhausting, profoundly disturbing, and diabolical. We are distraught, enraged, and ready.

If you’re feeling the same, play your part in ensuring people worldwide will not be forced through a pregnancy against their will. We’ve put together some resources which tell you how to access abortion pills anywhere in the world, which abortion funds to donate to, how to seek legal advice and much more. Please share far and wide — our collective care is needed now more than ever:

ABORTION IS HEALTHCARE

In fewer than 24 hours since the US Supreme Court’s tragic announcement, abortion clinics across the US had already begun to shut down. We must not ignore this abhorrent moment, and we must take decisive action together. As ever, thank you for your ongoing support.

In solidarity,
