House GOP group spending millions to beat up Democrats on impeachment

During the House Intelligence Committee’s impeachment inquiry, we saw courageous public servants come before Congress and tell the American people what they’ve seen behind-the-scenes in the Trump administration. Their testimony was been damning, exposing a pressure campaign to corrupt our democracy.

And yet shady GOP dark money groups are blasting the airwaves, calling impeachment a “politically motivated charade.”

These bad faith attacks are a weak attempt to cover up what has been clear from the very beginning of the Ukraine scandal: President Trump abused his power, violated his oath of office, and undermined our national security when he attempted to bribe the Ukrainian president to investigate his political opponent.

Now, the inquiry moves to the House Judiciary Committee, where David and his colleagues will continue their fact-finding mission. These attacks on Democrats will only increase – and the GOP has the money to make sure their ads are seen far and wide.
