This is not an easy email to write. There are no words for this, Friend.

To say I’m disappointed in the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn the historic Roe v Wade ruling is, to say the least.

This is a huge step backward.

My heart is with the women affected by this decision across the country. Your decision-making is being questioned, the right to your body revoked, and your lives altered by people who are after political gains.

We need to call out this ruling for what it is:

A politically motivated attack on a personal right to choose what is best for your body. Because what these Judges are doing is throwing half a century’s worth of precedent out the window in order to cater to their own personal beliefs.

Enough is enough.

Access to quality care is an essential human right. Many rely heavily on state-funded and local reproductive care - something that is now in jeopardy.

And honestly, Friend, we have to start asking ourselves how far these Judges are willing to go.

Everything that stands as a pillar of our democracy – our freedoms and protections – is in jeopardy if we continue to allow Republicans to embed their personal agenda into our politics.

That’s why I’m coming to you right now. We need politicians in office who will fight for our freedoms, not take them away.

The only way to protect our rights is through voting. We are busy hitting the ground educating and urging people to vote, but we need your help.
