John, meet Republican Congressman Steve Chabot.

Since 1995, Steve Chabot has been (mis)representing Ohio’s 1st Congressional District. Like most GOP officials, Chabot has had no qualms about falling in line with Trump’s far-right, authoritarian agenda and voting in line with him 93.1% of the time during his presidency. Even more disturbingly, the Ohio representative voted against the certification of the 2020 election results, explicitly supported Trump’s baseless accusations of election fraud, contributed to the false narrative that prompted the January 6 attacks, and voted against efforts to hold the insurrectionists accountable for their crimes.

It gets even worse – wealthy conservatives are already shelling out seven figures to help Trumpers like Chabot in this year’s most competitive races. If we want any chance at keeping our democracy, we need to unseat Big Lie Republicans like Chabot in November.

But wait! There’s good news too: OH-1 has now been identified as one of the congressional districts most likely to flip “red to blue” in 2022. This means we have a real chance to get Chabot out of Congress, but we need your help to make that happen.
